Ellis Secures Per Incanto Progeny at RTR Sale

There was strong demand for Per Incanto and Time Test’s progeny at the NZB RTR Sale which concluded at Karaka on Thursday evening.

David Ellis partnered up with leviathan Australian owner Ozzie Kheir, Group 1 Bloodstock and Bruce Perry Bloodstock to purchase the Per Incanto filly from Anaween(pictured) for $270k. Bred by LA, the filly was offered on the farm’s behalf by leading vendor Riversley Park.

Earlier in the sale, Ellis paid $230k for the Per Incanto – Not A Jaffa gelding.

Eight Per Incanto two-year-olds sold at an average of $168k.

Time Test’s progeny were also popular with all his four entries snapped up. Top price was the $100k paid by Hong Kong interests for the LA, B Hart and I MacDonald bred gelding from the Per Incanto mare Lucky Feat
